About/Bio | A long-time MAS member, former President, Vice President, and Tech Director, Brad has been writing songs for over three decades.
His songs have been played on NPR, independent radio, and web radio stations across the globe.
The Wall song, co-written with Mitch Townley and Judy Gorman-King, debuted on major country radio as well has over a million views on one YouTube video alone, was performed by Silver Hammer during opening Memorial Day ceremonies at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
The Wall was included in an award winning documentary The Wall’s Embrace-narrated by Jimmy Buffett and has enjoyed multiple cuts on independent and compilation album and other memorial projects.
Brad wrote featured songwriting articles for Muses Muse, an e-zine for songwriters, for five-years. He also published his own online songwriting newsletter subscription, Tunesmith Tips.
He is currently working on an acoustic singer-songwriter e-mail list and web project to be released in 2022. It will contain free songwriting and acoustic guitar tips to support the free-spirited acoustic songwriter.
Brad has performed his original songs across the Twin Cities and beyond at parks, festivals, live radio, songwriter rounds, internet TV, churches, coffeehouses, community theaters, farmers markets… and of course MAS showcases.
He is a member of American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), Nashville Songwriter Association International (NSAI), and SongU, where numerous songs received Best of SongU recognition. |
