Lemonade

Lemonade is an instrumental. It started as an early version of a co-written song with Mary Kealy Falk. We eventually settled on the 4th version for the project.

I just couldn’t let this version go without doing something with it. It’s the old saying, make lemonade out of lemons or in this case rejects.

I backed the vocal out and replaced it with mandolin and Echo Harp.

Just a comment about co-writing: It pulls you out of your comfort zone, it is sometimes challenging to work at a different pace or work style from yours and in my experience it always seems to produce a song that I would never have created on my own.
