Liam Vance

Minnesota-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer Liam Vance began his career at age eleven. Following a year of teaching himself guitar basics, Liam stepped on stage for the first time at a grade school talent show, and the rest was rock and roll. Fascinated by music’s soothing influence on his soul, and the electrifying joy he experienced through performance, Liam knew he found his calling. His music encompasses many styles from jazz and ‘50’s rockabilly to modern country and folk pop, with influences ranging from Duane Eddy to Stephen Sanchez. Liam is an active member of the Minnesota Association of Songwriters and ASCAP, and regularly performs in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2023, Liam collaborated with DanSan Creatives in writing the musical score for their debut film Nana’s Porch, and released two original instrumentals entitled “The Loop” and “Sunset Serenade.” These compositions, and many others written by Liam, pay homage to the sounds of surf rock groups like The Ventures and Los Straitjackets. His instrumentals and songs paint a picture of both his emotional and spiritual outlook on life, while his vocal performances always come from the heart. Through his music, Liam aims to create joyous experiences for himself and his audiences.
