Singer-Songwriter, Folk, Country, Americana
Doyle learned to love music by listening to his father play guitar and listening to AM radio and 8 track tapes. Somewhere along the line he discovered that making music was even more fun than listening. Doyle has found a voice that’s gotten stronger through the years, and he’s realized that he’s beholding more to effort, listening close, and grace.
The music that’s influenced his songwriting has been varied, and continues to grow day by day. He’s indebted to many of the greats: Steve Seskin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Guy Clark, Lori McKenna, Doc Watson, Tim O’Brien, and John Prine, but has been steeped in the sounds of Johnny Cash, Merle Hagard, and Kris Kristofferson for most of his life.
Doyle has just released his first solo album, a new EP entitled, “Until theGood Comes Back Around.”
