Please join us on Saturday, October 24th from 2-4 pm for a lyric writing workshop. We will be doing some exercises from local author Brenda Hudson’s “Story By Story: 15 Projects To Write Your Family Legacy” in the first half of the workshop, then will work on turning what we wrote into song sections, possibly a full lyric in the second half. For this part we will use techniques from the Andrea Stolpe book “Popular Lyric Writing.” If you are looking for new ways to generate and develop song ideas beyond object writing and want to connect with other songwriters in person, then this workshop is for you!

*Location* this workshop will be held at the Roseville Library in the board room on the 2nd floor, NW corner. Members of another local songwriting group, M.A.C.S. (MN Association of Christian Songwriters) will also be invited.

There will be one more lyric writing workshop this year on November 21st.
