Monthly Mixer with Doug Millaway: Exploring Songwriting Tools

In the May MAS Mixer, we will continue to explore Songwriting Tools that you can use anytime to enhance your skillset.

We will explore apps for your phone, websites, and even old-fashioned paper books. We will talk about things such as discovering alternatives to chord progressions, rhyming (again – it never gets old), basic music vocabulary, hook theory, simple rhythm programming, and working with samples.

Be sure to bring your favorite strategies to share with your peers.  Everyone is a teacher!

If you would like to join in on this event and request the Zoom link, e-mail events@mnsongwriters.org.  Please include your full name and the e-mail address you would like us to send you the link.
