The Craft Workshop is a place for songwriters to learn more about what elements and techniques create a great song.  We study song form, song topics, lyric structure, melody lines and much more.

The January meeting will be all about Verses. We will be listening, dissecting, and learning about the function of verses in songwriting. Each section of a song has a job that helps create a story. We will be diving into what makes a good verse, and what information you should include in your verses. Verses are very different from other song sections. We will be completing some songwriting exercises to help you write stronger verses.
