Songwriting Craft Workshop with Chad Shank: Active Listening

Join us for our Online Songwriting Workshop. We will be exploring techniques in Active Listening. Listening to songs you love, or commercial songs, can help you become a better songwriter.

Active listening is more than just putting on some tunes and enjoying them. It is like looking at each puzzle piece to see how each part of the song and production work together to create a complete song.

We will be listening to some of today's current songs, and looking back at some classics to see what is happening when you stop to listen a little closer.

We welcome all songwriters to our workshops that we hold monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Please check out https://www.mnsongwriters.org for more information on our group, and how you can become an official member.  If you'd like to join in this online meeting and receive the Zoom link, e-mail events@mnsongwriters.org.   Please include your full name and the e-mail address to send the link.
