Songwriting Craft Workshop (Online)

Our monthly songwriting workshop is going to be all about Chords and Harmony. We are going to explore tools and techniques you can use while writing your songs. The 3 main ingredients in songs are Lyrics, Melody, and Harmony. This month we dive into Harmony.
Topics we will cover include:
- Common Key Colors
- Harmonic Momentum and Rhythm
- Chord Colors
- Using the circle of 5ths to find chord substitutions
- What is the Nashville Number System?
- How to use chords to build contrast and prosody
