Almost certainly, all songwriters have idols and influences that shape their craft and style. We all have popular artists and writers that we look up to and start out emulating.

It is a great way to learn, but what happens when you want to create, and develop your own style?

In our July Songwriting Workshop, we are going to work on some exercises that will help you get a clearer picture of what makes you unique. Once we determine what sets us apart, we can work on developing and fine tuning our craft, and what makes us like no one else.

Songwriting is a craft, but there is also a bit of mystery and spirituality in it as well. Music and songs can touch us in so many different ways. When you start to explore your own personal process, strengths, and weaknesses, you can have some truly transcendent breakthroughs.

Our monthly workshops are open to all songwriters. We welcome people from all over the world, and at all experience levels. We are a supportive and friendly group of songwriters that have a mission of promoting the art and craft of songwriting.
