Hurricane Party
Board up the windows look out below
The big one is coming just off the coast
Hurricane party
Fill up the bathtub bring in the beer
Light up the candles the gang is all here
Hurricane party
She’s a beauty like you’ve never seen
Drifting away ahead of the dream
Last thing I remember she was dancing at the hurricane party
The radio says “get out while you can”
We all take a vote we’re in to a man
Hurricane party
Turn up the transister laugh at the fates
Dance with my sister the hour is late
Hurricane party
It’s raining on the road to paradise
Live while you can don’t even think twice
Hurricane party
You can’t wash away the memories
The wind and the water the lonely sea
Hurricane party
She’s a beauty like you’ve never seen
Drifting away ahead of the dream
Last time I saw her she was dancing at the hurricane party
She’s a beauty and her love is warm
Drifting away ahead of the storm
Last thing I remember she was dancing at the hurricane party
Last thing I remember she was dancing at the hurricane party
