If I Was Young Again

If I was young again,
I wouldn’t let old friendships end
I wouldn’t care what people say
I’d live my life in my own way
I wouldn’t let the things I own
Define the man that I become
I wouldn’t miss a chance to speak my mind
I wouldn’t give that boss man too much time
If I was young again
There are many things that I wouldn’t do
But without a doubt somewhere, somehow, some way
Baby, I’d fall in love with you.
If I was young again
I’d forgive more and make amends
I’d spend more time with the rising sun
And fewer late nights on the run
I’d keep in touch with mom and dad
Thank them for the life we had
I wouldn’t miss a chance to speak my mind
I wouldn’t give that boss man too much time
If I was young again
There are many things that I wouldn’t do
But without a doubt somewhere, somehow, some way
Baby, I’d fall in love with you.
