Nora Twelve
When you get to be a dozen years old, honey you don’t even know
Just exactly how smart you are and especially how much you’ve growed
The rest of us have stood in amazement
Standin’ right out there on the pavement
Enjoyin’ all the great entertainment
Of watchin’ Nora grow OH YEAH
Just watchin’ Nora grow
CHORUS
Watchin’ [watchin’] Watchin’ Nora grow
It’s so much fun ‘cause she’s the youngest one
And she’s got a ways to go
So we’ll keep watchin’ [watchin] watchin’ Nora grow
Yeah it’s fun, but it ain’t easy, girl, keepin’ up with you
‘Cause the faster you grow, the faster you move and I don’t know what to do
But I don’t wanna stop the fun
No matter how fast you make me run
Just laughing with the youngest one
And watchin’ Nora grow OH YEAH
Just watchin’ Nora grow
Watchin’ [watchin’] Watchin’ Nora grow
It’s so much fun ‘cause she’s the youngest one
And she’s got a ways to go
So we’ll keep watchin’ [watchin] watchin’ Nora grow
So we’ll keep watchin’ [watchin] watchin’ Nora grow
So we’ll keep watchin’ [watchin] watchin’ Nora grow

Nora is a friend of our family. I have written her and her 17 year old sister a song as a present every year for their birthdays; hence the title. Unique gifts for them, fun for me, for them and for both of our families.
