I Song Title: Rain or Shine
Writer: James M. Fritz
Date Written: August 2023
Intro (Whistling)
Verse 1
Sunny and bright, everything’s right
You’re my star in the night
Because of you, I’m no longer blue
I’m so in love with you
Sunrise to sunset, we’re a great duet
In a portrait or a vignette
Like paper and glue, I’m stuck on you
Head over heels for you
Chorus
Rain or shine, you’ll always be mine
Sunny or grey, we’re on cloud nine
Hot or cold, you’re my sunshine
You will always be my valentine
Rain or shine
Rain or shine
Bridge
(Whistling)
Chorus (repeat)
Rain or shine, you’ll always be mine
Sunny or gray, we’re on cloud nine
Hot or cold, you’re my sunshine
You will always be my valentine
Rain or shine
Rain or shine
Verse 2
Cloudy today, that’s okay
We’ll celebrate our wedding day
You by my side, my love and pride
Soon you’ll be my bride
Sunny and bright, our vows unite
Life’s honeymoon, begins tonight
Love in our hearts, new lives to start
Promise we’ll never part
Chorus (repeat)
Rain or shine, you’ll always be mine
Sunny or gray, we’re on cloud nine
Hot or cold, you’re my sunshine
You will always be my valentine
Rain or shine
Rain or shine
I wrote this song in 2023 and presented to MAS. Wayne suggested changing minor chords in chorus to major. I made that change, added whistling to Intro and Bridge. Recorded this version on Suno Ai using female singer.
