Jesus had a mission, from his father up above,
To spend his time on Earth, Teaching us to love.
He said, “Come on, Follow me, the time has come”.
In the Jordan River, Jesus met with John,
The Dove flew down and Blessed him, he was the righteous one,
He said, “Come on, Follow me, the time has come”.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, Blessed are they that mourn,
Blessed are those who hunger, to be the righteous ones,
He said, “Come on, Follow me, the time has come.”

On the Mount he taught us to hold each other dear,
He said to love your neighbor, and he made it clear,
You turn the other cheek, and do unto the least,
And if you follow him, you will find eternal peace.
