RIVERS OF MY LIFE ©2021 by John Bennett
When I look back on the path that has brought me here
steered a force that’s flowing
flowing through all my years
flowing through all my years
CH
Life pulls me along from beginning to end
Watching as the world goes by
As one thing ends another begins
I’m carried by the rivers of my life
carried by the rivers of my life
Friends always changing rearrangin’ as life goes along
Like rapids converging Merging to a place where I be-long
a place where I be-long
I follow it from beginning to end as I follow this path
Watching as the world go by
As one thing ends another begins
carried by all the rivers of my life
Waters converging
Merging to a place to belong
