Lyrics:

Look At You Now

Look at those folks
who follow you 'round.
They're not your friends and they
raise their brows when you
talk like that,
make a fist and Wow!
Look at you know.

Even your friends are
wonderin' how you're the
fair-haired boy,
the cat's meow,
a golden calf
and a sacred cow
Look at you now!

Bridge:
You can't turn back or bail out now
the whole world knows you'll rip them off and
kick them 'round.

It's about time
you should be gone.
These short years
have been too long.
The shine's worn off
turn in your crown.
Look at you now

Bridge:

Comments by composer(s):

Ignore the first version of this song. I came up with this in about 2018. I’ve always thought I should revise the chorus/bridge. Recently resurrected it for the fun of it.
