VERSE 1
At water’s edge upon the beach
The long boat waits off shore.
Two lovers with their hands entwined
Wonder is there’s something more?
VERSE 2
Feelings buried now emerge
Tempered by their history
Resisting love’s delusions
They sense the possibility.
CHORUS
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
VERSE 3
Waves reach out to touch the beach
Random life exposed in pools
With textured stones, small and frail
Glimmer like exotic jewels.
VERSE 4
Emotions, like waves that come
Explode and then recede. Two lovers on a journey.
Cautiously, they do proceed.
CHORUS.
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
BRIDGE
There is a path that lies ahead
Hidden in the dark sea mist
Known to each in longing
And felt with a lovers’ kiss
CHORUS
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
VERSE 5
The Sunset brings the close of day
Anticipation of the night
Absorbed in quiet splendor,
Bathed in a golden light.
VERSE 6
Side by side at water’s edge
Proceeding with hands held tight
Journey set, destination unknown
Yet, they walk into the night.
CHORUS.
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
Dare they ….
Touch – Feel – Share – Trust —-Explore …?
Dare they not?
OUTGO (Spoken)
At water’s edge upon the beach
The long boat waits off shore.
Two lovers with their hands entwined
Have found …. something more.
