Lyrics:

My Doll Collection (Revised 01/15/25)
(Verse 1)
All my friends say I need to settle down
They claim I dated every woman in town
I just tell them with a smile and reflection
They’re all part of my beautiful doll collection
(Chorus)
From that doll collection I tried to find a wife
But, all my efforts brought was more confusion and strife
I tried my best, but I couldn’t find the perfect mate
So, I accepted being a bachelor was my fate
(Verse 2)
I courted Daisy, Hazel and Jenny who were ramblers
Then there was Belle, Sue and Caroline… such gamblers
My girlfriends were sad, funny, short and tall
I parted ways with them, even though I loved them all
(Chorus)
From that doll collection I tried to find a wife
But, all my efforts brought was more confusion and strife
I tried my best, but I couldn’t find the perfect mate
So, I accepted being a bachelor was my fate
(Verse 3)
My doll collection grew through the years
But not finding a mate brought on my fears
I went on date after date trying to find the one
But, I struck out and came up with none
(Chorus)
From that doll collection I tried to find a wife
But, all my efforts brought was more confusion and strife
I tried my best, but I couldn’t find the perfect mate
So, I accepted being a bachelor was my fate

Outro
Then I saw Pearl at the rodeo one summer night
An angel that could save me from my doll collection plight
With one look I knew….YEAH! She was the one
And just like that, my doll collecting days were done

Yeeeeaaaa
