The Witch
Terry Kennedy-Lares 2026
Chorus:
I am the witch, born to joy and sorrow
I am the witch, informed by yesterday
I am the witch, seeing to tomorrow,
I am the witch, living in today.
I am the witch, Rhiannon’s blessed heir,
truth is in my story, bird songs fill the air.
I am the witch, Cerridwen’s honored child,
born to stir the cauldron, spill the magic wild.
Chorus
I am the witch, Bridget’s shinning one,
welcoming the Springtime, with Imbolc’s warming sun
I am the witch, the child of Aengus Og,
spreading love and kisses, while singing my song
Bridge: The sun, moon, and stars, spiral through the sky
Seasons pass over the Earth,
We watch the changes, the weather and the tides,
The Goddess leads us to rebirth.
I am the witch, the face of Morrigan,
Life and Death surround me, as through this world I run,
I am the witch, Cernunnos of the wild,
Father of the forest, has my soul beguiled.
Still working on it, mixing is rough.
