Octagonal Warmth (2026)
Terry Kennedy-Lares
I woke up this morning, the sun was in my eyes,
I cursed the light that blessed me, thru clear blue skies,
and the job that paid me, to get out of my bed,
Looking for direction from my ego-centric head.
Chorus:
Octagonal warmth with come my way
with eight rays of love, to show me the way
If eight acts of kindness, are my goal
Octagonal warmth will feed my soul.
Driving down the roads, I was only half awake,
a mad man cut me off, for his own damn sake,
my finger flew up high, I’m such a crazy guy,
Looking for direction in the geo-mythical sky.
The material world and the spiritual realm,
Cosmic balance has eight sides in the end,
it’s the principles of life, which way should I go,
Looking for direction for my geo-amorous soul.
Chorus and outro.
What can I say, it's not done yet, but I'm kinda obsessed with trying to make it work.
