Secret Hideaway
The lighting was just right
To capture that moment in time
When laughter filled the frame
All the planets seemed aligned
Wish we could bottle the feeling
Wish we could store some away
Pull it out when we need it
To get us through one of those days
One of these days we’ll need each other
One of these days might happen soon
Reach into that secret hideaway
Don’t wait for the next blue moon
Remember what young love feels like?
There’s not a lot that can compare
As days begin melting into each other
Love changes, and that don’t seem fair
Wish we could bottle that feeling
Wish we could store some away
The thing about getting older
Is the word you forget to say
One of these days we’ll find each other
One of these days will happen soon
Reach into that secret hideaway
Don’t wait for the next blue moon
Snapshots may be fun to look at
But they can mess with your troubled mind
Somehow we need to figure out
How to make the past and the present rhyme
One of these days we’ll hold each other
One of these days it’ll all make sense
Reach into that box of photographs
Make every single one present tense
Reach into that box of photographs
Make every single one present tense
This is a SUNO arrangement of my melody and lyrics. What do you think the title should be? Should I repeat the final chorus?
