Starting November 9th, MAS songwriting instructor extraordinaire, Chad Shank, is leading 4 two-hour online workshops focusing on Songwriting Fundamentals. The workshops will be 4 consecutive Tuesdays in November, and run 7 PM to 9PM Central.

The workshops will be a mix of info, application, and discussion. They will be a great way to stay sharp in your skills. They are in addition to all of the other great programming and monthly workshops MAS offers.

Each week will focus on different aspects of songwriting, we will look at Structure, Content Development, Song Sections, Techniques, etc. This will be great for newer writers as well as writers that want to have a deeper knowledge of writing tools. It will be a lot of fun! The topics for each week are:

• Nov 9th – Week 1 – Lyric Fundamentals – Part 1
• Nov 16th – Week 2 – Lyric Fundamentals – Part 2
• Nov 23rd – Week 3 – Melody Fundamentals
• Nov 30th – Week 4 – Harmony Fundamentals

Join us at 7 PM each of these dates. We will also record these for our paid members. No need to RSVP.
