The March MAS Mixer session will focus on easy methods to do simple recordings of your songs for sharing. Time will be spent on using the Garage Band app at the beginning of the session as a base for discussion.

Other topics will include:

• Why using mp3s, and other audio files, are better for sharing music online.
• Various methods including Photo Booth, Audacity, Zoom, and even your smartphone will be demonstrated.
•  In addition, how to convert your file into usable formats such as mp3, mp4, aiff etc. will be discussed.
• How to strip audio from a video will be demonstrated using iMovie or other movie editing applications.
• By the end of the session, you should have basic knowledge of simple file sharing.
