Lyrics:

Sometimes 2026
Terry Kennedy-Lares

Sometimes I’d like to be someone, who has no morals,
and do anything I want, with no mental quarrels,
Look people in the eye, tell them every lie,
then I’d say goodbye and fly away, fly away.

Sometimes I’d like to live so free, like I was immortal,
buzzing round like a worker bee, rest on my laurels
give everything a try, never question why,
then I’d say goodbye and fly away, fly away.

Pre- Bridge
How do I become that special kind of guy,
who looks life right in the eye and doesn’t fly away

Bridge
Living in this world of trouble, doesn’t make much sense,
Living in a social bubble is just a cheap defense
No, I can’t let go, I can’t let go, of the things inside my head,
No, I can’t let go, I can’t let go, of the things that people said,
Where do you find the patience, Where do you find the peace,
Living life in abeyance, won’t help the pain to cease.

Sometimes I’d like to be someone, who you’d think was normal,
Pretending like I’m having fun, not acting formal,
Look people in the eye, never ever cry,
then I’d say goodbye and fly away, fly away.

Most times I have to be myself, and I’m not normal,
I’m just like anyone else, in this mortal coil,
I do what I can, to help my fellow man,
then I say goodbye and fly away, fly away.

I really don't know what i'm doing with this song. It's in early stages of production just enough to make it sound palitable.
